Course Overview

This foundation class by Savi’s Fashion Studio teaches you how to draft, cut, and stitch a basic choli-style saree blouse. Perfect for beginners, the class covers taking accurate body measurements, preparing a pattern, sewing darts, and finishing seams to create a professional-looking blouse. With this class we are starting with our foundation course in Saree blouses.

In this class you will learn how to make a Choli blouse and this class will be the foundation to all our further classes in saree blouses. So this class is a must watch before taking any of our other classes for Saree blouses.

In this class, you will learn how to take body measurements for Saree blouses, how to draft the pattern with 4 darts in the front. How and where to give the darts, arm hole measurements, laying and cutting the fabric, transferring the darts from the pattern to the fabric, adding seam allowance, sewing the blouse, finishing neckline and sleeve open with Binding method, sewing the hook and eye.
